I think the dandelion is a wonderful representation of the Grace & Grit of the American Spirit. A dandelion symbolizes strength, perseverance, resilience, hope and transformation.
The MSM, government officials and their paid influencers call us names like terrorist, white supremacist, deplorable, etc because Patriots fail to be blades of grass in a well manicured lawn. Like a dandelion in a perfect suburban lawn, they think we need to be eradicated and they attempt to uproot and poison us. As a result, even normies, can see Patriots as weeds. Like the dandelion, Patriots are in a war for our survival and for the success of our Country.
Like the dandelion, it can be hard sometimes to be a Patriot. In some environments, you may feel surrounded by normies and leftists. You may feel little self-conscious that you are a bright yellow blooming flower amongst the trimmed blades of grass. You may feel alone and stifled, because you are surrounded by asphalt and concrete, yet are determined to survive and thrive. Or maybe you sometimes feel under appreciated, that there is no one around that understands or values your strength and beauty. In a woke corporate environment, you may have to hold opinions close to your heart and watch your words around the boss and other colleagues to ensure you don't get singled out or get black marked. Or in families, you are trying to keep the peace when family members have divergent perspectives, like on vaccines. Or you are out there getting the message known and feel that no one is really hearing you or taking action to wake up.
Like the dandelion, each Patriot has many beneficial properties. Dandelion greens can be food or made into wine. The root is a potent herbal remedy. From the view of permaculture within the local ecology, it is an dynamic accumulator. This means that the tap root reaches deep into the earth to bring up nutrients to the plant. Once the fluff is blown away, the plant releases its nutrients to the neighboring plants and enriches the whole area. Patriots fight for freedoms that others take for granted or are willing to relinquish. We run small businesses that benefit the local economy and serve the local community with our skills and gifts. We build communities of faith that can rely on each other and help each other out. I'm sure each of you can come up with numerous more strengths and wonderful quantities.
The one thing that I love most about dandelions and Patriots is what happens when they flourish! It is an amazing transformation to one day see a bright yellow flower with its head to the sun, overnight it closes up to a tight bud and rests, and the next day becomes a delicate almost magical ball of fluff. It's like the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. Better than a butterfly, those little whisps each carry prayers and wishes as it floats in the breeze. A short time later as the seeds take root and grow, there are so many more dandelions! One of the dogs and I love helping to spread the seeds across the pasture! As I get more dandelions, I know our pasture is healing!
Patriots are similar in that as we flourish, we spread. By planting seeds about the reality of what is going on and reminding people of our history, we soon find that there are so many more of us! We are the majority! America is like my pasture blooming bright yellow with dandelions! We have the Grace & Grit to persevere. Through our tenacity, We Will Save Our Country & Make America Great Again!
