Does this sound like you?

Crazy long work weeks! Corporations run 24/7 and so do you

There is not enough time for everything at work & at home! Definitely no time for a good night's sleep, an afternoon with friends, time for a hobby, or to sit quietly.

You can't stop thinking about work

You are scattered and unfocused at home because your mind is at work. Worries, "should have" / "could have," creative solutions keep you up at night.

Always connected! High FOMO!

Leaving your phone and email unattended for a few hours to go to a doctor's appointment during the workday can give you fits because it seems like something blows up every time you are out of contact for a few hours. Appointments are bad enough - you dread scheduling vacation! They are troublesome because of how behind you get, even if you are checking in every day for a few hours.

Appear to HAVE IT ALL

Outside of the family, everyone believes you are living the American dream - a great career, financial success, happy family! Only you and your loved ones know about the:

  • Intense moments when your spouse nags you about your work schedule & begs for you to help more at home.
  • Sadness in your child's eyes as you miss yet another school event or can't play with them (like YOU PROMISED).
  • Disappointment in your Mom & Dad's voice on the phone as you say you can't make the time to see them in person.
  • Feeling of being "left out" that flashes through your eyes when everyone is laughing at an inside joke from an event that you did not attend.

But none of them know how this is eating you up on the inside - frustrated for not being recognized by all of the sacrifices you are making to provide for your loved ones; guilty for not being the spouse, parent, or child you expect yourself to be; disconnected, isolated and tense from holding it all in.

Discomfort & weakness doesn't stop you

Even though you are barely acknowledging your physical limitations (yes I know you have the willpower to push through any discomfort your body dishes out) - the stress, rushing and lack of sleep are physically impacting your daily life:

  • Feeling crappy (the technical term for brain fog, irritability, headaches, tightness) from being spread too thin & holding it all together.
  • Quality of work and attention to detail are starting to suffer because you can't focus and think clearly.

Have you sacrificed enough for work?

Stop putting the most important aspects of life behind work. Align your time with your core principles & values, so you can thrive and flourish as God intends.

Faith

You are starting to recognize that your Christian sense of purpose, duty & responsibility to family have been twisted by modern societal pressures. You want to slow down & live your Christian values in the way that God intends.

Family

Time flies and you can't miss out on any more in your loved ones lives. You love your family (that's why you already do so much for them). You want to enjoy the little things in life with them. You want your kids to have great memories of you as they become adults. You want to be able to tell funny and touching stories of the love you and your spouse share at your golden anniversary.

Freedom

Good health is needed to have the energy to be yourself - express creativity, explore nature, investigate & learn new things, complete that home improvement project, develop skills in a hobby, visit with friends, volunteer in the church, or help your neighbors.

You've been trying to make more time at home, but...

After everything you've tried, are you unsure how to change your lifestyle (and still keep your job)? If only God would answer your prayer for an extra hour in the day!

  • To create more time in the day,
    • you've cut back on sleep (maybe too much).
    • you've put off personal needs and interests as much as possible (maybe too much).
  • To fend off the exhaustion,
    • you've relied on caffeine and sugar to get through the day, but that has just left you with an upset stomach & WIRED.
    • turned to comfort foods and drinks to take the edge off, but you can see that is adding weight.
  • To be more relaxed while at home or detached from the office, you've attempted to unwind with:
    • a few drinks, but they've impaired your sleep and energy in the morning.
    • mindless scrolling online or video streaming, only to find yourself feeling more frustrated and restless.
  • You looked into mindfulness for about a second, before you decided that it was too much time and effort to learn something new when you can't do many of the things you really want to do now.
  • You thought about cutting back at work, BUT just can't figure out how to do it without jeopardizing your job or career.

The reality is...

You can't serve two masters. Nor can you have a "work spouse" (I hate that phrase!).

You need to adapt your time management to be values-based & anchored in your faith-identity - prioritize what's important outside of work.

You can't keep cutting back on sleep or adding activities - some need to be stopped or done differently.

With so little time and energy right now, change needs to be made in tiny steps that will build momentum.

You gain strength and ability to transform when you "Let Go and Let God!" Make more room for Him in your life, particularly at work.

(I can hear you ... This sounds great in theory, but how do I do this so I am not creating a risk of financial insecurity for my family?)

What makes this program work...

  • You have at your side a former corporate executive who has led teams of hundreds in her downline and mentored dozens of leaders throughout her career (ME! - Howdy! I'm Sharon, in case if we haven't met before!)
  • I know how the strain & pressure of doing it all can lead to a stress-induced health crisis. (I was too stuck & stubborn to change and landed in the hospital, which started me on my stress recovery journey.)
  • Together, we can craft an appropriate strategy to address stress and any hurdles that arise at work as you re-adjust your priorities and your ways of working
  • This is a faith-based program. As you connect to Holy Spirit more at work, you invite God's will to work through you when you are struggling or feel powerless to do the right thing for yourself or your loved ones.

GRACE, GRIT & WORK OVERVIEW

This is a quick-start program, designed to get you unstuck so you can find the time to take steps toward your long-term goals of improved work-life harmony.

Stop feeling drained and unsure about how to find relief from:

  • the grind and daily strain of working too many hours;
  • not enough quality time with loved ones;
  • only having fleeting leftover moments to pray, rest, or enjoy personal interests.

Shift from a work-driven identity to a faith-driven one to more closely align your priorities with your faith & family values. It enables you to refocus on how you manage your time and energy. Develop sustainable work habits that allow you enough time & energy at home.

Through one on one coaching, take tiny steps toward having the time & energy to pursue your happiness.

Instead of just being catchphrases, you’ll apply tactics to “do more with less” and how to “work smarter, not harder.” Through the lens of your Christian faith and values, address your habits / routines, personal stressors & time management strategy. You can free up more personal time from work.

By adopting tiny habits (seconds to 3 minutes to accomplish each time), you will slowly transform your daily routine. Pick one area to focus on, for example:

  • more sleep each night
  • daily prayer time
  • connecting with your spouse
  • playtime with your children

With each coaching session, you learn more about where the time actually goes, dig deeper into what makes it hard to change and understand the patterns of what is stressing you out. We uncover solutions for you.

Feel less stressed & more energized, as you take steps toward stress recovery and work-life harmony.

How much time will this program require?

You'll get 6 hour-long coaching calls with me, valued at $960. These 6 sessions are across 8 weeks, with email support in the off weeks.

Since you are managing every minute of your day currently - I am being very transparent about the expected time commitment.

  • Before we start working together, there is a questionnaire to help make our time productive. This will require about 30 minutes to complete.
  • As we work together, you will be prioritizing your time and energy a bit differently and start freeing up time for non-work activities. The expectation is that you will use this to invest in yourself - not work! (I'll help you work through the temptation as it arises.)
  • We'll ramp up slowly, starting with tiny habits first. The commitment is minimal - 5-10 minutes a day.
  • We will find the time for you to begin to make these changes so you can achieve your vision of work-life harmony!

How can you feel passionate about anything if you are spread to thin? Reclaim your time to reconnect with loved ones & rediscover your passions. Take steps toward a more rested & energized life.

What's involved in the 6 sessions?

Each week, we address what is stressing you at work, so you can better protect time for yourself and at home. We slowly make continuous improvements as you train your new behavior & mindset, increase self-awareness, and adjust a little each week.

Session 1

Align on who you want to be & how you want to spend your time.

Introduce tiny habit model.

Session 2

Finalize design of initial tiny habits.

Assess where time & energy goes to identify how & what to change.

Session 3

Keep working on tiny habits. Explore stress triggers and current coping mechanisms.

Session 4

Address obstacles & resistance to change. Introduce boundaries between work and personal life.

Session 5

Shore up changes &

continue to resolve challenges.

Session 6

Make a covenant with yourself to sustain changes.

Move through inertia to momentum. Each small step leads to many more positive changes.

These commitments to your self-care and family should continue after we are done working together. This is not about busy work! This approach ensures that you have tactics to manage your time so you can get more rest, feel more energized, and be more present for your loved ones.  You will walk away with experience in replicable strategies to make more changes in your management of time and energy. You will have a more hopeful outlook that you can achieve work-life harmony as you continue on your stress recovery journey.

Be empowered through implementing these changes that bring you closer to living a life in alignment with what matters most to you.

Every single choice you make is voting for who you will be in the future. So who do you want to be?

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I really have time to do this?

Let me ask you - do you have time to continue NOT to figure out a reasonable work-life balance or to reduce your stress?

Will you make the time to recover from a stress-related health emergency? If you get in an accident due to lack of sleep, will you pay the price? Will you make the time for a family emergency if something happens with your spouse or kids? If your job performance and work relationships suffer because you are burning the candle at both ends, will you deal with the consequences? Why not make the time now, while you have choices and can prevent worst-case scenarios?

How flexible is scheduling?

I only offer sessions for this program Tuesday - Friday from 8a - 6:30p US Central Time. I have to role model work-life harmony too. :)

What is the refund policy?

A 100% refund is allowed up to 24 hours before the 2nd session. Email notice must be given. Additional details are in the coaching contract.

What needs to be true for me to succeed?

This program is for you if you are very invested in making a lifestyle change and are currently stuck. You just don't know where to start making changes to improve your health or work-life harmony. You are willing to lean into your Christian faith for guidance and health.

I have a question that's not answered here.

That is why I offer a free consult session! I want to ensure that I can answer all of your questions.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, but only if you ask me during the free consult to send you the payment link. It splits the payment into 2. The second payment is due before the 4th session. Additional details are in the coaching contract or can be asked during the consult.

What if I miss or need to reschedule a session?

Currently, all 6 sessions must be used in 8 weeks. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours notice via email, otherwise, it is considered as a missed session and can't be rescheduled.

What pretty much guarantees that someone won't have success in this program?

If work continues to be an idol you are willing to sacrifice everything for. If you strongly believe that material success is more important than living a life aligned with Christian values. This program is about setting yourself up for improving work-life harmony - not about time management and productivity techniques.

If this goes well, can I work with you longer?

Yes! I offer 6 and 12-week programs as continuation options depending on your goals.

Still Have Questions?

It is important to me that I can answer all your questions and address your concerns, which is why I offer a free consultation. I am here to be of service and support your transformation. Ultimately, you and God know what is best for you and your family.

Thank you for spending this time with me. To have read this far down, I know you are troubled by how much work has taken over your life and how physically, mentally, and spiritually drained you are by being pulled in too many directions. I pray that you can see how God is working in your life and hear how the Holy Spirit is whispering guidance for you.

I wish you and your loved ones a blessed day!

Sharon
